We recommend beginning with our exclusive Barking Babies Puppy Experience as your puppy’s first introduction to grooming. This gentle initiation into the professional grooming world, tailored for first-time puppies under 6 months, focuses on creating a positive association and desensitising your pup to the grooming environment.

What's Included

Your pup will enjoy a gentle bath, blow dry, brush, and nail clip at their own pace. Minor yet necessary scissoring, such as clearing hair from the eyes, is included based on their comfort level. Curious and calm pups might even get to hear the sound of a clipper running next to them, or the vibrations of a pad trimmer! Think of this safari for the senses as a grooming introduction, prioritising calm and comfort for a positive start to stress-free grooming. Oh, and don’t forget all the extra kisses and cuddles! How To Prepare For Your Appointment

Please ensure your puppy is fully vaccinated and in a normal coat condition. For matted pups or coats that need extensive attention, we're here to assist with a tailored appointment for your specific needs.

  • Bring any brushes or grooming products you already have for your new puppy and enjoy a complimentary lesson on maintaining a healthy coat at home—we'll share tips, tricks, and showcase our favourite tools for optimal results and saving time at home

  • No brushes or shampoo at home yet? No worries! We'll guide you on the right tools and products, and our studio stocks a full range for purchase that we use ourselves in the studio

  • Bring your calendar! After your appointment, we'll plan a grooming routine together, tailored to your puppy's needs and your grooming goals, with the next appointment usually within 2-4 weeks for a seamless continuation of positive grooming and training
