We take pride in being more than just a grooming studio – we are dedicated to supporting and enhancing the vibrancy of our local South Perth community. At Barking Butler, we believe that a thriving community is built on collaboration and support and understand the importance of giving back. That’s why we actively seek opportunities to contribute to the wellbeing of our neighbours.

We invite community groups and local, not-for-profit organisations in the South Perth area to share their initiatives with us, to see if our family business can help contribute towards their goals. Woosha’s Warriors Social Running Club

May 2024 - “We are a local social running club with a focus on community and engagement. We are friends and family first and foremost, with a love to interact through a shared purpose of being active and having fun, mainly through participating at Parkrun. Parkrun is a big part of our life and has been the ultimate activity that allows us to explore, experience, engage, and exercise together.

The overall aim of the Club is to motivate each other to get active and involved in Parkrun and connect with others in the local community. We bring people together, promote events, highlight achievements and special milestones, provide tips and motivation, and challenge and inspire people to conquer their goals and aspirations.

Barking Butler Grooming Studio Sponsors Holy Family Parish Quiz Night

September 2024 - “Barking Butler Grooming Studio is proud to have sponsored the Holy Family Catholic Parish Como/Kensington in their annual "Parish Fundraising Community Quiz” night last month. We were delighted to contribute a Barking Butler grooming voucher for dog grooming services as a prize in support of this special event and the wider community initiatives of the Parish.

The funds raised from the evening directly benefit important local programs, such as Holy Family Care, which supports the sick and their carers, and community-building activities like Sunday morning teas. Additionally, the Parish actively contributes to agencies like Lifelink and Centrecare, which provide aid to those in need within Perth, and Caritas, an international Catholic agency supporting the poor in Australia and beyond.

The Quiz Night has been a cherished tradition for many years, though it had a brief pause due to the pandemic. This year marked its exciting return, and we look forward to seeing it continue annually in the future.
